The good news is that you can find a habitable property in Tuscany for around €100,000. However, if you are looking for that classic Tuscan country house with a larger plot, olive trees, cypress trees and a swimming pool, you should expect a budget of at least €500,000.

Country houses with larger plots are particularly popular among Estonian buyers. However, before making a purchase, it is important to look beyond the asking price alone. Buyers should also take into account taxes, notary and agency fees, as well as potential renovation and maintenance costs.

Location also plays a major role when choosing a property in Tuscany. Some prefer the atmosphere of a small historic town, while others are looking for complete privacy and views of the Tuscan hills. So the question is not only what you can buy, but also what kind of life you want to live in Tuscany.
